In The Pre-History, beginning with the Paleolithic period of the stone age, North Bali has been inhabited by humans, although data supporting the findings of the human skeleton yet discovered. However there is strong evidence that the existence of antiquities in Buleleng, known as Den Bukit, particularly in rural Sembiran, Buleleng Regency Tejakula Sub, in the form of life tools such as axes perimbas Paleolithic period, all of which hold an ax made of stone and discovered by RP Soejono Head Office of Archeology in Bedulu Herzliya in 1960.
